Michael DillonSenior Manager

Michael is a senior manager who leads audit and advisory engagements across a range of industries. With more than 16 years of experience in public accounting, he specializes in serving healthcare, real estate, and private equity clients. His expertise includes financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and delivering strategic insights that help organizations navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence.

Prior to joining Saltmarsh, Michael previously served as an Accounting Manager for a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), where he was involved in complex revenue recognition, rebate accounting, third-party payor arrangements, and regulatory reporting. This experience provided him with insight into the pharmacy reimbursement model, managed care contracting, and the financial dynamics between providers, PBMs, and payors.

Michael has also held leadership roles as a Controller and Vice President of Accounting for real estate development companies, overseeing complex financing structures, debt compliance, cash flow management, and multi-entity reporting. His combined experience in public accounting and private industry enables him to bring a practical, operator-focused perspective to healthcare clients — bridging technical accounting requirements with real-world operational realities.
