We’re excited to share two recent milestones that reflect this commitment:

Vanessa Feely, Senior Consultant, has officially passed Part Three and obtained the Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS) designation. This rigorous certification reflects deep expertise in fiduciary oversight, investment risk, and trust operations. Vanessa’s achievement adds meaningful depth to our growing trust internal audit practice and is a testament to her dedication and focus.

Angel Roberts, Senior Consultant, has earned her Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation after more than 18 months of dedicated study. The CRCM is widely recognized as the gold standard for compliance professionals, and Angel’s accomplishment reinforces our commitment to delivering best-in-class compliance consulting.

These certifications are incredible professional milestones for Vanessa and Angel, and they are also a reflection of the strength, expertise, and dedication that define our Financial Institutions Consulting practice. Vanessa is a senior consultant in the Financial Institution Advisory Group. She focuses on financial reporting, treasury management, and call reporting, and performs internal audits for trust departments and companies. Before joining Saltmarsh in 2016, she was assistant vice president and finance manager for a Jacksonville-based bank. Vanessa has completed Level I of the Trust Audit, Compliance & Risk Management School for CFIRS® and is pursuing advanced levels to deepen her expertise.

Angel is a senior consultant in the Financial Institution Advisory Group with experience across loan compliances, internal audits, and operational review services to the firm’s financial institution clients. Her areas of expertise include consumer, commercial, and SBA lending, as well as credit analysis and risk management. Angel also brings experience as a real estate agent and paralegal for a regional law firm.
